Baahubali, Prabhas is back with his next big action flick Saaho , set for release in 2018

Image
prabhas Back with next big action flick sahoo set for release in 2018 Prabhas needs no introduction. A known name in Telugu cinema, his moment in the pan-Indian context came with  Baahubali – The Beginning.  For close to four years he worked with SS Rajamouli on the two instalments of  Baahubali  . The first film, released in 2015, met astounding response at the BO and was embraced even in the North. The release of the second instalment, this year in April, was much-awaited. It repeated the first part’s performance in terms of business too. Both films made the cast, especially the leads, household names even in parts of India where probably the only familiar South Indian actor would have been Rajinikanth. As Amarendra Baahubali and Shivudu, Prabhas won many, many hearts. With  Baahubali  done and dusted, he starts work next month on  Saaho  , a trilingual film (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi). The film’s teaser, released in April, has notche...

Cristiano Ronaldo to appear in court

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo to appear in court Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is due to appear in a Spanish court later today, accused of evading millions in tax. Prosecutors allege Ronaldo, reported to be the world's highest paid athlete, has evaded €14.7m ($17.3m; £13.1m) in tax since 2010. The Real Madrid star has previously denied the allegation, saying his "conscience is clear". Ronaldo, 32, is the latest in a string of footballers to be pursued by the Spanish tax authorities. Why are Spanish football stars in legal trouble? Will Ronaldo really leave Real Madrid? Argentina's Lionel Messi, who plays for Barcelona, was handed a 21-month prison sentence after being found guilty of the same charge last year. Earlier this month, the court ruled he could pay €252,000 in place of jail time. However, Messi was only accused of evading €4.1m in tax, €10.6m less than Ronaldo, who will give evidence in his case at a court in the Madrid suburb of Po...
