Earlier this month, we were all close to welling up as we saw Prince William hold Prince George's hand as the pair walked through the gates of Thomas' Battersea prep school for the little tyke's first day.
However, it appears the four-year-old's excitement to attend school has dwindled somewhat, if Prince William's recent comments are anything to go by.On a visit to Milton Keynes yesterday, the Duke of Cambridge reportedly revealed the Prince is a kind of 'over' the whole school thing.
According to the Telegraph, he told a fellow parent: 'I just dropped George off and he didn't want to go.'Mother-of-two Louise Smith said the heir to the throne stopped to say 'hello' to her daughters.
'It was really exciting meeting William. He told me he'd just dropped Prince George off at school and he didn't want to go. Sounds a bit like mine really,' she added.
During his visit to the town, the Duke played a game of table football with users of a mental health service and received mini MK Dons football shirts for his two children, despite the fact he's an Aston Villa fan.
