At least 8 dead in NLEX bus accident 
















At least eight people died in a bus accident Friday evening at a major thoroughfare.

A passenger bus flipped on its side at the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), and authorities are still monitoring the situation and rescuing passengers.



Speaking to Philippines, Valenzuela police chief, PCOL Carlito Gaces said that eight were confirmed dead, and eight injured.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Red Cross has dispatched three ambulances and a rescue vehicle, and have already alerted nearby hospitals.



The medical organization added that six patients have already been transported for additional medical action.
