The Indian Premier League 2020 has been postponed 'indefinitely' following Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement of extension of Lockdown
The BCCI has suspended the 2020 edition of the IPL until further notice because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is understood that the BCCI has not set a new window yet for the tournament, which was to be held between March 29 and May 24 originally
IPL 2020 will have to be postponed after Indian govt. extended the lockdown till May 3. BCCI boss Sourav Gangly had made it clear that the game cannot be a priority given the crisis that India is facing.
