Scotland's first minister Nicola Sturgeon says Scottish government is investigating reports that personal protective equipment is being diverted to England and has been in contact with Matt Hancock

40 people have died from coronavirus, the Scottish Government has confirmed.

It brings the Scottish death toll from Covid-19 to 615.The number of confirmed positive cases in Scotland stands at 6358 an increase of 291 from 6067 the day before.



First Minister Nicola Sturgeon confirmed the rise during a briefing in Edinburgh on Tuesday.
