Researchers at University Hospital Southampton and the University of Southampton are set to begin trials of a vaccine pioneered in the UK.It will involve up to 510 healthy volunteers aged between 18 and 55.

It comes as a vital shipment of PPE equipment promised just yesterday by the government failed to arrive from Turkey today.And experts have warned that 6.5 million jobs could be lost as a result of the coronavirus pandemic




16,509 people have now died in hospitals in the UK after testing positive for Coronavirus. .
