Novak Djokovic and wife Jelena have both tested positive for Covid-19.Serbian becomes the latest player who featured on the ill-advised Adria Tour last week to contract Covid-19 with events going ahead without any social distancing protocols and with full stadiums in Croatia.

He is the third tennis star to test positive after Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric while participating in his Adria Tour exhibition tournament.




Novak Djokovic’s positive test follows similar results for Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki, who all played at events last week and joined each other in games of football, basketball and on nights out.

Novak Djokovic admits he is "extremely sorry" to those infected with coronavirus from his Adria Tour tennis tournament after confirming he has also contracted the virus.




The Serbian has faced severe criticism after fellow tennis players Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric tested positive for Covid-19.
