Physicians add that he has been without a fever since Friday morning and could be discharged as soon as tomorrow.

declining yesterday to disclose whether Trump was given supplemental oxygen following his diagnosis, doctors have now revealed that the US president was in fact given oxygen on Friday morning.

Doctors say that Trump is currently not complaining of shortness of breath" and is walking around. The leader's cardiac, liver and pulmonary functions are not cause for concern.

White House Physician Sean Conley said on Saturday that President Donald Trump was hospitalized because he is the president of the United States.

Asked continuously by the press if Trump was ever on oxygen the doctor refused to confirm the claim but stressed he was not on oxygen on Thursday or while at the hospital on Friday or Saturday. However, he said he is on remdesivir and that it will be monitored to see if he will need the full five-day treatment.

Conley added Trump was tested with a PCR test to confirm his diagnosis after learning of a contact testing positive and noticing some symptoms of COVID-19.

He pointed out that his weight, age and the fact that he is slightly overweight are risk factors but that his blood pressure and heart rate are in line with his previous physicals.
