President Uhuru Kenyatta said Nairobi county accounts for nearly 60% of all recorded COVID-19 cases. This means that out of 5 people, 3 are more likely to positive for COVID-19 disease .

President Uhuru days Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru are declared disease infected counties. President orders cessation of movement in these counties effective midnight Friday.Curfew to start at 8pm to 4am in Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu, and Nakuru counties effective midnight Friday.

President Kenyatta say Bar operations suspended and restaurants serve take away only in Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru counties.
