A police officer is one of three pedestrians seriously injured after a car crashed into a stationary Police van in Wakefield.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen of breath.

west Yorkshire Police said Road Traffic Collision, Westgate Wakefield. Police are currently dealing with a road traffic collision which happened on Westgate, Wakefield.

The incident happened at 124am when a Renault Megane being driven along the road was in collision with police
