Severe floods hit Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, in central China. Streets flooded, people are trapped in the subway, their homes, and vehicles.
Heavy rainfall occurred in Henan Province causing floods. As of now, the Henan Fire Rescue Corps has handled 408 flood rescue and rescue operations today.
The Zhengzhou Fire Rescue Detachment dispatched 548 fire trucks, 25 boats, 2710 commanders and fighters, rescued 849 trapped people, and evacuated more than 1,500 people.
More than 144,660 residents have been affected by torrential rains in Central China's Henan Province since July 16, and 10,152 have been relocated to safe places, the provincial flood control and drought relief headquarters said Tuesday.
The meteorological station in China's Henan Province on Tuesday issued a red alert, the most severe warning for heavy rain, after cities including the provincial capital Zhengzhou were hit by downpours.
